Inspection workflow
A well-designed MPI process combines secure part handling with controlled magnetization and a clear inspection stage. System configuration is adapted to each workpiece and production workflow.
Clamp the part between the electrodes or on the support rollers, ready for full coverage.
Apply circular, longitudinal or combined magnetization with AC, DC or AC/DC current.
Spray the wet fluorescent magnetic suspension and look for indications under UV-A light.
Demagnetize the part and verify remanence before it moves on to the next process.
